Our apprentices can do casting and good grades

“We can do casting” is the performance promise of Siempelkamp Giesserei. Our two final examination graduates in winter 2022 show that they can do even more.

Recep Mahramanli passed his final exam to become a foundry mechanic with 93%, his school performance corresponds to a grade point average of 1.0. A great result, which the vocational college also recognized with a certificate - issued for special achievements, diligence, and exemplary behavior! We are pleased that Recep Mahramanli will continue to be a member of the Siempelkamp Giesserei team; his area of operation will be the quality department.

In addition to production, Siempelkamp Giesserei also offers apprenticeship in the commercial area. Here, Andre Planken successfully passed his examination to become an industrial clerk. His interest in a commercial apprenticeship was aroused during a conversation with the chairman of the works council of Siempelkamp Giesserei. At his own request he shortened the three-year apprenticeship by half a year and also completed his exams very successfully. In his project work he took up the forward-looking topic of “Digitalization and process optimization in the area of incoming goods”. Andre Planken also continues to be part of our team and will work in technical controlling in the future.
