Corona test campaign launched
by Siempelkamp Giesserei and Siempelkamp Metallurgie

Krefeld, April 14, 2021

The two Siempelkamp companies Siempelkamp Giesserei and Siempelkamp Metallurgie preempt the legal regulations requiring companies to do so and are already starting with the regular testing of their employees for the Coronavirus.

Individualized test concept
ensures campaign success

Starting immediately, all employees of Siempelkamp Giesserei and Siempelkamp Metallurgie will be provided with two Corona tests per week. For the testing concept, the management and the works council rely on so-called self-tests which can be carried out by the employees at home before starting work: "In this way, our colleagues have the certainty of their test result even before entering the company premises," works council chairman Thomas Dittmann is satisfied. So are Dirk Howe and Dr. Georg Geier, managing directors of the two companies: "We have been able to set up an efficient testing system in a short time that already exceeds the legal regulations that will apply from tomorrow."

The test concept was designed to ensure the best possible safety for employees and at the same time to meet the requirements of shift operations at both companies. The successful introduction this week (from April 12) with many positive feedbacks is the proof!
